And off to their new owner.
They are the same size, the one on the left is a little slouched. The new owner was surprised to get them at the time because I saw her walking by with her children and I came running out of the house waving socks at her. Then I made her put them on so I could document the event properly. What a good sport!
I used a superwash Merino worsted weight base yarn and handpainted the yarn in her favorite colors. The needles used were US 3 Knitpicks Harmony DPNs (love them!) and I used a generic K2 P2 rib pattern.
